Scope and acceptance
These general terms govern the purchase of TopCodify services. The features, price, term and scope of each service will be provided before purchase. For domain names, this document is supplemented by the specific terms below.
The purchase of a domain is subject to express acceptance of these terms, the rules of the applicable extension, the policies of the relevant registry and the applicable ICANN policies. Where the purchaser is not the registrant, they must have sufficient authority and pass these terms on to the registrant.
Services, availability and support
TopCodify may offer domain, hosting, email, certificate and other technology services. The availability of a queried name does not guarantee its assignment: registration is confirmed only once accepted by the sponsoring registrar and the relevant registry. Domain questions will be handled through TopCodify’s published contact channel.
Specific terms for domain name registration and management
The following specific terms form part of these general terms for any registration, renewal, transfer, registrant change or management request for a domain.
Request, registration data and registrant obligations
The registrant must provide complete, accurate and current registration data, and promptly update any change. The customer warrants that the request, selected name and its use do not infringe third-party rights or applicable law, and is responsible for the instructions supplied and the domain’s use.
The necessary data will be shared with the relevant registrar and registry operator to complete the request and maintain the domain, in accordance with applicable law and privacy policy. The processing and publication of registration data may be limited by applicable registry and data-protection policies.
Registration, renewal, transfer and expiry
A request is subject to the name’s availability and the rules of its extension. Renewals, transfers, registrant changes and other operations must meet the deadlines, requirements and possible locks set by the registrar, relevant registry and applicable policies. Failure to renew before expiry may lead to suspension, cancellation, release or loss of the domain. TopCodify will provide available operational notices, but the registrant must monitor the term and keep contact details current.
Applicable policies and dispute resolution
The registrant agrees to comply with ICANN policies applicable to generic domains, and with the policies of the registry operator and sponsoring registrar, including rules on registration, transfer, registration data and dispute-resolution mechanisms applicable to the extension. If a mandatory policy conflicts with these terms, it prevails for the affected matter.
Privacy and proxy
TopCodify will not use an external Whois privacy or proxy provider for these services where that would conflict with the applicable requirements communicated by DonDominio. Where an extension permits a privacy or proxy service, its availability, terms and handling are governed by the sponsoring registrar, ICANN policies and the rules of the relevant extension.
Domain enquiries and registration data
You can query publicly available registration data using ICANN Registration Data Lookup. To identify the sponsoring registrar, request an action or raise an issue relating to a domain purchased through TopCodify, use TopCodify’s published contact channel.
